AP Global Services: Studios in New Zealand House
To design, build and maintain 5 x news studios, playout and edit facilities with multi, single and robotic camera studios together with office space for journalists and booking staff, in prime position in central London.
Central London Studios are a joint venture between Associated Press Television News (APTN) and Welltrade Services (WTS). The installation was carried out in summer 2010 by C2S Systems (part of the WTS group) and the studios have been operational since September of the same year.
The studios are located in the heart of London, just off Trafalgar Square and so are within easy walking distance of the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, London Eye, Oxford Street, the West End and many other world famous landmarks and iconic locations. With these locations being so close by and the studios each having large external windows, the views from the studios are spectacular.
